Kennywood named among nation's best amusement parks

We're honored to be named among the nation's greatest amusement parks by the U.S. News and World Report! Pittsburgh’s Thrill and Entertainment Destination was featured in the latest list of the country's top 17 parks, with a special nod to the park’s wide variety of attractions offered for guests of all ages.

“No other park blends modern thrills with iconic traditions quite like Kennywood,” says Rick Spicuzza, Assistant General Manager. "We can’t wait to celebrate 125 years of legendary memories together in 2023!”

Part of the festivities include a robust lineup of special events to keep the celebration going all season long. It all kicks off with our 125th Celebration Weekends this spring, followed by an expanded Bites and Pints Food & Drink Festival, then the return of Celebrate America, Fall Fantasy parades, Phantom Fall Fest and Holiday Lights later in the year - each with their own exciting updates and improvements yet-to-be-revealed.

We're also proud to continue our legacy of innovation with the all-new Area 412, featuring Spinvasion, our brand-new ride; the refurbishment of the Whip, our oldest flat ride; the introduction of the all-new Pizza Warehouse, plus even more improvements that we'll be sharing over the coming weeks.
