To ensure a seamless entry into the park and for the most enjoyable visit possible, we’ve enhanced our security procedures for the 2023 season. We are fully confident in our plan, and we want to help you be prepared before you visit the park.
The following policies begin September 22, 2023.

Guests age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age (with valid ID) to enter the park at all times during Phantom Fall Fest.
Only bags within the dimensions of 8” x 5” x 2”, as well as medical and diaper bags, are permitted during Phantom Fall Fest.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted during Phantom Fall Fest, with the exception of one sealed bottle of water or Guests with special dietary needs.
Masks that cover some or all of a person’s face are not permitted to be worn by any guest after 6 p.m. Guests age 13 and over are NOT permitted to wear costumes into the park.

Kennywood is NOT responsible for items left at the gates.
In addition to our security team, we have added K-9 Units, bike patrols, AI security technology, and will continue to have a significant presence of local law enforcement agencies on-site for Phantom Fall Fest.
Park teams have upgraded the park fence and cut down trees along the fence line bordering Route 837 to improve sight lines. New floodlights and state-of-the-art security cameras equipped with artificial intelligence have been installed for better monitoring, and ongoing security patrols in that area have been increased during operating hours.
