Motor Sports Sunday
Kennywood’s famed roller coasters aren’t the only speed demons on this day! High-powered cars will be on display courtesy of Motordrome Speedway. Even your wallet will feel the rush – it’s a BOGO Sunday!
The Roller Coaster Race is back! Run a 5K or 10K race in and around Kennywood before the park opens, then compete to be the first to ride a 5K worth of roller coaster track once the park opens for the day. This annual August highlight features the finest school and university marching bands of Pittsburgh and beyond, along with themed floats made by the Kennywood team! Brews in the Park
NEW FOR 2016! Kennywood will host its first-ever craft beer festival, Brews in the Park. While the rides will be shut down as Kennywood transitions from summer operation to Phantom Fright Nights, guests can enjoy their favorite craft beers, food offerings from Kennywood’s signature stands and local food trucks, live music performances and more! Fall in Kennywood will forever be tied to Phantom Fright Nights. Demented clowns, hungry vampires and ghastly ghouls haunt the grounds of America’s Finest Traditional Amusement Park, with ten haunted attractions for guests to explore. Fog and fear lighting fill the park as you experience Kennywood’s rides in a frightfully fun new way! *Phantom Fright Nights is not recommended for children under the age of 13*

More than 1.5 million lights twinkle throughout Kennywood, Pennsylvania’s tallest Christmas tree (90 feet!!) towers over the park, and holiday-themed entertainment abounds.
