See, Share and Spread the word about Kennywood Park!
Coming to Kennywood in 2020, the hotly-anticipated Steelers Country at Kennywood will kick off its first full season! Highlighted by The Steel Curtain, 2019's Best New Roller Coaster, Steelers Country will take fans on a journey that blend two true American pastimes, amusement parks and pro football, in a way never seen before! Guests can take on Steel Curtain's world record-setting 197-foot-tall inversion, one of a North American-record 9 times upside down on the ride, then head to the Experience Building to see how they fare at the training camp-style skills competitions and fan-friendly photo opps. Finish it all off with a visit to the End Zone Café, a sports bar serving tailgate-style food with a special Kennywood twist.
Kennywood is internationally known for its preservation of rare, historic rides (did you know it's one of only two amusement parks recognized as a National Historic Landmark?) But even for a place filled with beloved, traditional classics, few compare to the Jack Rabbit roller coaster, which opened a century ago in 1920. Jack Rabbit is the sixth-oldest roller coaster in the world, fourth-oldest in the United States, and remains one of Kennywood's most popular rides even a century later. Come find out what has made the Jack Rabbit a rite of passage for visitors the world over since Woodrow Wilson was in the White House and Babe Ruth swatting home runs!
All aboard for fun! Thomas Town at Kennywood™ will mark 75 years of the iconic children's brand with a big birthday bash on May 10, 2020! One of only four Thomas & Friends-themed lands in the world, Thomas Town features 5 rides based on characters from Thomas & Friends, one of the world’s most popular children’s brands. Young conductors and their families can experience thrills with Thomas, Cranky, Flynn, Harold, and Diesel, along with live shows featuring Sir Topham Hatt and some of his Really Useful Engines!
Kennywood is America’s Finest Traditional Amusement Park! Located just outside Pittsburgh, PA, Kennywood offers a unique mix of modern thrills and classic rides, including eight roller coasters, a 14-ride Kiddieland, and North America’s second-largest Thomas & Friends™ themed attraction, Thomas Town™. Kennywood’s three wooden coasters have been designated Landmark rides by the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), and join several other attractions as unique Kennywood experiences.
Founded as a trolley park in 1898 and named a National Historic Landmark in 1987, the Kennywood experience goes well beyond the rides, as guests enjoy homemade fudge, Deep Fried Oreos, and Kennywood’s world-famous Potato Patch fries! Learn more about Kennywood.
We will create a designated web page and personalized keyword for you to share with your fans! Through the keyword, we'll give an exclusive discount on Kennywood admission.
