Get ready for amazing character meet and greets at Kidsfest, patriotic fun and fireworks during Celebrate America, and unforgettable themed parades during Fall Fantasy. From opening weekend celebrations to Phantom Fright Nights, Happy Hauntings, and Holiday Lights, there’s a special event for every member of the family!

First Responder Day

Date: Sunday, August 25
Savings: First responders receive free admission and can purchase up to four discounted tickets at $27 each for family and friends at the gate.

Honoring the men and women who protect and serve in our communities! All First Responders (police, fire, EMS, and military) get free admission this day, with discounted tickets available for their friends & family. Plus, catch demonstrations from local agencies, as they show how much work can go in to their service.

Ride for a one-of-a-kind cause during Coasting for Kids! Kennywood is proud to support Give Kids The World Village by hosting the Coasting for Kids fundraiser. Form a team or fundraise as an individual to benefit this Orlando-based resort that provides free stays and service to children battling life-threatening illnesses. All participants who fundraise $100 or more get free admission to Kennywood, plus access to an Extra Ride Time (ERT) benefit on some of our most popular rides before Kennywood opens to the public!

Brews in the Park

Date: Saturday, September 21
Time: Rides: 1 – 3 PM; Brews: 3 – 7 PM

A craft beer festival in a one-of-a-kind setting: Kennywood! More than 100 different beers are available for sampling, along with food trucks and signature Kennywood treats, and live music from Walkin' Rosie and Totaly 80's setting the scene. Though no rides operate once pouring begins, come early and ride some of Kennywood’s signature coasters and thrill rides from 1 – 3 PM!

Must be age 21 or older to attend. Season Passes are not valid for this special event.

Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival

Date: Sunday, September 22
Time: 1 – 6 PM
Prices: $24 (Ages 13+); $12.00 (Ages 3 - 12)

Pierogi Fest features over 40 vendors offering different pierogi styles, great music and entertainment, and the ability to ride some of Kennywood’s most popular attractions.
