This year hasn't gone like any of us expected. As COVID-19 continues to impact every part of our lives, we have been faced with many hard decisions, resulting in our 2020 Season being delayed.
We know how challenging it's been to wait. We want to see you too! Because of all the uncertainty, we have decided to extend all 2020 Season Passes through the entire 2021 Season. If your pass includes our holiday events (such as the Silver, Premium or Ride & Slide), you will also get those in 2021. Dining Passes and other perks will also be extended. It's the right thing to do in appreciation of your patience and support. Non-Season Passholders can purchase 2020 Season Passes that include the 2021 Season for a limited time.
We have been working constantly these past two months on how we adapt to this pandemic and the new normal it has created. We continue to plan towards Opening Day, though an exact date remains undetermined. Our top priority, as always, is the health and safety of our Team Members and Guests. We will continue following the rulings and recommendations of our local, state and federal leadership throughout this process, working alongside health and safety officials and our colleagues in the amusement and attractions industries.
While the experience will be different from any season in our history, we remain committed to delivering the safe, family fun that's been our calling card since 1898. While we continue to plan to open this summer for a shortened 2020 Season, an opening date has not been determined yet. We are working hard to adapt our operations to the new environment created by COVID-19 while also awaiting additional clarity from state leadership on when we might be permitted to open.
We do intend to have Season Passholder-exclusive days this summer, and are working to reschedule as many of our other events as possible. Check back later for more information.
Each 2020 Season Passholder will receive the identical Season Pass, with the same access, in 2021. For passes like the Silver, Senior, Premium and Ride & Slide, Passholders will be able to use them for the 2021 seasonal holiday events (Phantom Fright Nights, Happy Hauntings, and Holiday Lights) as well. This extension also applies to add-on products like the All Summer Dining Pass.
Bronze Season Passes will include the 2021 Summer Season, but will not include seasonal holiday events in 2020 or 2021. The Bronze Pass is still a summer-only pass.
Yes. All Season Passholders will receive the 2021 extension, regardless of when their final payment is made. We know finances are a challenge for some guests - please know we are not charging late fees for missed payments. To update your payment information, visit the Kennywood Payment Portal. Please note that Season Passes cannot be used until they are paid in full.
Our plan is to ensure you receive equal value for any experience or benefit you missed out on this year due to COVID-19, such as the All Summer Dining Pass. All Summer Dining Passes and other add-ons will also be valid through the end of the 2021 Summer Season. Please note, the All Summer Dining Pass will not be valid during Phantom Fright Nights, Happy Hauntings, or Holiday Lights. We are no longer selling Dining Passes for the 2020 season.
All Season Passes purchased will include both the 2020 and 2021 seasons until further notice. We may revert to single-year Season Passes at a later point.
Good Any Day tickets will be valid through the entirety of the 2020 Summer Season, and Limited Operation and Date-Restricted Tickets will be accepted any day of the 2020 Summer Season. Surcharges and date blackouts will be waived on School Picnic tickets. They will be Good Any Day of the 2020 Summer Season. Group Outing Planners can email firstname.lastname@example.org, to discuss options to reschedule early-season outings or with any additional questions.
We are still accepting applications and conducting phone and Skype interviews. At this time in-person interviews, orientations and trainings are on hold until permitted to resume by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Our highest priority remains the safety of all of our Team Members and Guests, and we’re closely following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Allegheny County Health Department, along with other government officials and health experts.
