Can it be? The rainy weather is finally moving out just in time for the Fourth of July! All three parks are celebrating the holiday in their own way with special activities such as fireworks, extended hours, live music and more. Plus, all three parks have special savings on tickets and passes available. Here's a rundown at what's going on at each park.
At Kennywood, Independence Day is headlined by an epic Zambelli fireworks show. We'll light up the night sky above the Racer at approximately 9:30PM. Head to the Lagoon for the best spot!
Pro tip: for the very best fireworks experience, rent a paddle boat! You and a guest will get your own paddle boat from 9-10PM to watch the fireworks show on the Lagoon. Spaces are very limited and are first come, first served starting at 3PM. Cost: $30/boat.
The fireworks show may be the main attraction, but there's plenty to do before nightfall! Bites and Pints Food & Drink Festival will be open. Mix and match international tastings at any of our nine tasting locations around the Lagoon!
ALSO tomorrow, we're excited to welcome the Nate King Country Band for live concerts all day long! Rock out with country hits at 1PM, 3PM, 6PM and 8PM at the Garden Stage.
And of course, with the Zambelli fireworks show, the park will be open later for night rides! Kennywood is open until 10PM Tuesday, July 4.
