Bites and Pints, Pittsburgh's Most Thrilling Food and Drink Festival, is back for its third season! This year, we're excited to truly imagine Bites and Pints as a celebration of nations. This uniquely-Kennywood connection to the past ties the park's longstanding roots of celebrating nationalities from around the world while building to the future to grow (hopefully!) grow to new audiences.

Now, you might be wondering what Bites and Pints is in the first place. Maube you need a quick refresh. Here's a quick guide on what you need to know!

What and When is Bites and Pints 2023?

Bites and Pints is a unique event unlike any other at Kennywood. Join us for authentic tastings of international cuisine, craft beer and cocktails as you mix and match dishes and drink options at our 9 booths around the Lagoon area. New in 2023, Bites and Pints occurs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday  from June 2 all the way through July 30, plus July 3 and 4. The tastings begin at 5PM Fridays and 1PM Saturdays and Sundays.

How Does Bites and Pints Work?

Sample whatever you'd like at our 9 booths around the Lagoon! All items are available to purchase a la carte, but the best way to experience Bites and Pints is with a Bite Card. hoose between 8 or 12 samples to get started. Then, let the tastings begin! Use your Bite Card to mix & match delectable dishes and drink options at any of our Bites and Pints booths. Enjoy all your samples in one day or use them throughout the event's run. Bite Cards are available to purchase at the park during event hours, but we recommend buying online ahead of time so all you have to do when you arrive is sip and savor the experience!

Additionally, Season Passholders can purchase an exclusive 15 Sample Bite Card for the same price as a 12 Sample Bite Card.

Tell Me More About this 'Celebration of Nations'

Each weekend for the entire run of Bites and Pints, we're highlighting one of our featured nations. That weekend's special entertaiment lineup will pay homage to the featured nation for that weekend. Here is this year's schedule, week-by-week:

• Week 1: June 2-4 - Ireland
• Week 2: June 9-11 - Jamaica
• Week 3: June 16-18 - Poland
• Week 4: June 23-25 - Mexico
• Week 5: July 1-4 - CELEBRATE AMERICA!
• Week 6: July 7-9 - Italy
• Week 7: July 14-16 - Greece
• Week 8: July 21-23 - Germany
• Week 9: July 28-30 - Japan

Those that fondly remember Kennywood's Heritage Days are sure to enjoy this new format as we celebrate cultures from around the world!

Did You Say Live Entertainment?

We sure did! Each weekend's specialty entertainment will relate to the featured nation of the week. Enjoy live shows Saturdays and most Sundays at the Garden Stage as you enjoy your favorite drinks and dishes. Check out the full lineup!

The Most Important Question: What's On the Menu?

This year's menu features a wide variety of new mouthwatering delicacies, from cordeiro at the Brazil booth to jägerschnitzel at the Germany booth, from grros at the Greece booth to corned beer sliders at the Ireland booth, ravioli at the Italy booth to shrimp skewers at the Jamaica booth, yellow fin tuna tataki at the Japan booth, esquites at the Mexico booth and pierogis at the Poland booth - and that's only a fraction of the full menu!
