Cheerleading Day!

Once a year, the SkyCoaster stops flying and Cheerleaders take over the Lagoon Stage. Squads are invited to compete for the coveted Kennywood Cheerleading Title! Even our guests are welcome to enjoy this exciting tradition of cheering, chanting, dancing, music, pom pons and lots of energy!

The event begins at 11 AM, with approximately 50 cheerleading squads competing. National Federation rules apply. Divisions include: Jr. High Non-Mount, Jr. High Mount, Junior Varsity Non-Mount, Junior Varsity Mount, Small Varsity Non-Mount, Small Varsity Mount, Medium Varsity Non-Mount, Medium Varsity Mount, Large Varsity Non-Mount, and Large Varsity Mount.

This registration form must be downloaded, completed, and returned to Kennywood by July 29, 2008 for your squad to be eligible to compete.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14 THE KISS FM MORNING FREAK SHOW The KISS FM Morning Freak Show visits Kennywood with their lucky listeners for some of the first scary rides through Ghostwood Estate.
FRIDAY, MAY 16 Y-108 MORNING SHOW The Y-108 Morning Show will be in the park as it opens with selected listeners that can't wait for their ride on Ghostwood Estate!
	SUNDAY, MAY 18 MOTORSPORTS DAY WDVE MICHELE MICHAELS Join WDVE's Michele Michaels at the Front Gate 12-1pm as she welcomes motorcyclists from the Allegheny Camp Cadet Bike Run ending at Kennywood.  Then, visit her in Pavilion 5 from 1-2pm as the Cub Scouts try to race the most Pinewood Derby cars at one time EVER!
SATURDAY, MAY 31 FM NEWSTALK 104.7 ROCCO DEMARO LIVE BROADCAST Rocco hosts the Weekend Sportsline show at the Parkside Cafe, 2-4pm.

	SATURDAY, MAY 3 THE Y-108 HUMAN PINATA Wookie and the Y-108 Morning Show let selected listeners smack pinatas off suspended-by-crane-human-pinata Wookie to win front row tickets to see Kenny Chesney.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 7 B-94 BUBBA BREAKS IN! B-94's Bubba snuck into Kennywood early in the morning and rode the new Ghostwood Estate!
FRIDAY, MAY 9 STAR 100.7'S JOHNNY HARTWELL BRAVES  GHOSTWOOD ESTATE Johnny Hartwell of STAR 100.7 FM rode Kennywood's latest and greatest, Ghostwood Estate, with some lucky listeners.
	FRIDAY, MAY 9 THE NAVY BAND The Navy Band rocked the Kennyville Stage from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
