Kiddieland

Kiddieland offers several rides similar to their larger counterparts in the ""big park"". Scaled-down rides for children include the Lil' Phantom rollercoaster, SS Kenny, Turtle Chase, Whippersnapper and Whirlwind. Two rides, Kenny's Karousel and Wacky Wheel, date to when Kiddieland opened in its current location in 1927. Parents can also join their children on a number of Kiddieland rides, including Dizzy Dynamo, Crazy Trolley, Turtle Chase, SS Kenny and Lil' Phantom. Children can also enjoy flights on the Elephant Parade and Red Baron, where the kids control how high they fly in the sky! Little daredevils that prefer the ground can also take a spin on their very own motorcycle on Steel City Choppers. Also similar to the ""big park,"" Kiddieland blends pint-sized thrills with the more gentle rides, offering something for everyone.

Conveniently located in the center of the park near the historic Auto Race car ride and Thomas Town area, children will have plenty to do when they visit Kennywood. Kiddieland is bordered also by our backside pavilions, meaning your family won't have to go too far between rides and the picnic table!
