Celebrate America!
June 30 - July 5

Star-spangled excitement is yours during Celebrate America! Special entertainment daily, antique cars, music groups and, of course, fireworks nightly (weather permitting). Coupons good for $10 off gate admissions will be available at participating Giant Eagle locations by mid-June. Check back later for entertainment details.

Cheerleading Day!

Once a year, the SkyCoaster stops flying and Cheerleaders take over the Lagoon Stage. Squads are invited to compete for the coveted Kennywood Cheerleading Arrows! Even our guests are welcome to enjoy this exciting tradition…cheering, chanting, dancing, music, pom pons and lots of energy!

The event begins at 11:00 AM, with approximately 50 cheerleading squads competing. National Federation rules apply. Divisions include: Jr. High Non-Mount, Jr. High Mount, Junior Varsity Non-Mount, Junior Varsity Mount, Small Varsity Non-Mount, Small Varsity Mount, Medium Varsity Non-Mount, Medium Varsity Mount, Large Varsity Non-Mount, and Large Varsity Mount.

63nd Annual Fall Fantasy Parades

Parade into autumn August 7– 21 plus August 25 & 26.

Join Kennywood in celebrating the coming fall season with a parade every night! Over 140 high school and college marching bands make this a truly fantastic festival. Hosted by Ford Motor Co. Parades are scheduled for 8 pm nightly (weather permitting). The following rides will be closed during the parades: Jack Rabbit, Aero 360, Racer, Paddle Boats, Skycoaster and Volcano.

2012 Phantom Fright Nights

Friday and Saturday nights September 28 through October 27 (7pm - 1am) PLUS Sunday, October 7 (7-11pm).

We dare you to experience the shocking sensations of Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood. After the park closes for the winter, a ghastly and horrifying force takes over our fair grounds. We have absolutely no control over the Phantom, or what he chooses to do in Mortem Manor, Voodoo Bayou, the Kennyville Cemetery, Gory Park or his other terrifying haunts. You'll need to watch your back on the midway itself and on many of the rides inhabited by The Phantom if you dare to challenge him. Please do not come alone. You are far better off accompanied by a large group of brave but daring friends. Will this be the year you challenge the Phantom and his kind at Kennywood?
