Dear Colleague:
It is a pleasure to represent the NASA Aerospace Education Services Program. NASA is committed to inspiring the next generation of explorers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and geography.
I will be conducting a presentation on the science of rides as they apply to NASA research. The program will discuss the areas of microgravity as they apply to the human body. I will conduct demonstrations on disorientation as it applies to the astronauts on orbit and how that translates to the rides in the park. I will of course also discuss and demonstrate the topics that the students like such as "how do you go to the bathroom in space", "how do you dress in space", and "how do you become an astronaut."
Learning about this experience doesn't have to stop at the park. May I suggest that you try the following links for more information:
Thank you,
